About
Faye is inspired by the untold true story of Jewish photographer Faye Schulman. After Faye’s family was murdered by the Nazis during World War II, Faye escaped her Nazi captors to join forces with the rebels in the woods of Poland. Faye made it her mission to use the art of photography as a means of resistance to ensure the cultural memory of the jewish people remained intact and the horrors of what happened in her beloved town of Lenin would never happen again. It is a story of resilience, remembrance, and how the power of art can bring us home again.
